THE DIGITAL EDITION · OCTOBER 26, 2026
Purchase & refunds
A deeper practice, with clear expectations.
01 / What you would purchase
The planned Digital Edition is $29 USD as a one-time payment, with no recurring subscription. It includes the Mirror Triangle, Spiral Path, optional Guardians, the existing interpretation guidance, and saving readings as text files. The Echo remains free, with no draw limit. Guided experiences are separate purchases and require an active Digital Edition entitlement. Through Change is being tested at $19 USD as a one-time experience purchase for its five sessions, optional practices, and reflection downloads. It does not replace the $29 Digital Edition purchase.
This is access to the current online digital edition while that service is operated. It does not promise perpetual hosting, every future feature, a physical deck, shipping, a Kickstarter reward, coaching, or professional advice. Any applicable taxes and the complete amount payable must be shown before a real purchase is confirmed; the current sandbox price is a test amount.
The project is operated by Jonathan Beckner. Support, privacy, and permissions: info@ofsoundandstone.com. International sales are planned. The legal seller details and the locations supported at launch will be confirmed before live checkout is enabled. A public website does not mean paid checkout is available in every country.
02 / Access & delivery
A purchase is linked to the ChatGPT account signed in on the Mirror Deck site when checkout begins. Sign in with that same account to use access on another device. The app does not sell or transfer your ChatGPT account, and a purchase does not create a journal backup.
Stripe hosts checkout. Access is delivered electronically after the site receives verified payment confirmation. Some payment methods or delivery delays may take longer. If access does not appear, return to the site and use “Already unlocked? Check my access,” then contact support rather than purchasing again.
Access is for your personal use under the use and intellectual-property notices. Your own writing remains yours. Keep your account secure; do not share passwords with support. Access can be restricted for a refunded purchase, a payment dispute, fraud, or misuse. Restrictions will be reviewed if made in error, and any remedy required by law remains available.
03 / A simple refund proposal
For the proposed paid launch: request a full refund within 14 calendar days after purchase, for any reason. Opening the readings does not, by itself, remove this voluntary refund option. A request received within that period qualifies even if it is handled later. This is an additional commercial promise, not a limit on statutory cancellation, faulty-content, or other consumer rights.
To request a refund, email info@ofsoundandstone.com with “Mirror Deck refund” in the subject and your receipt or payment reference. Include only what is needed to find the transaction. You do not need to share your reading, password, or complete card details. This email request route is the planned support process; additional cancellation tools will be provided where required before sales in those locations begin.
Approved refunds go through Stripe to the original payment method, with no deduction for the operator’s processing fee. Your bank or payment provider controls when the credit appears. Paid access tied to that purchase is removed once the refund is processed; The Echo stays available. A separate valid purchase, if any, remains effective. Refunding an experience does not revoke a separately purchased Digital Edition. Refunding or losing Digital Edition access also prevents use of experiences that require it, even if an experience purchase remains on the account. The current test system also blocks a purchase when any partial refund or payment dispute is recorded.
Contact support about duplicate charges, failed delivery, or technical problems even after the 14-day window. Those issues and any rights required by law are handled separately from the voluntary change-of-mind window. These terms do not require you to give up a payment-provider dispute right.
04 / International purchases
The planned reference price is $29 USD for the Digital Edition. Through Change is a separate $19 USD test purchase, with final launch pricing to be confirmed. The actual charge currency and full amount, including any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax, must be disclosed before a real payment is confirmed. If checkout offers a local-currency price, review that amount before paying. Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion rate or cross-border fee; those charges are outside the site operator’s control. No local-currency checkout or tax collection is currently enabled by this sandbox notice.
The proposed voluntary 14-day full-refund promise is intended for buyers in all supported sales locations. It does not replace or restrict any cancellation right, digital-content guarantee, remedy for faulty or misdescribed content, or other mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live. Merely opening a reading does not waive the voluntary refund promise. Any legally required delivery consent, acknowledgment, cancellation function, or additional notice will be provided before sales begin in the affected locations.
A refund is issued in the original transaction currency. Currency movement or separately charged bank fees can affect the amount your bank shows in your home currency. Contact support if a required refund or consumer remedy is not reflected correctly. Additional rights and tax treatment depend on the sales location; this proposal does not claim that the site is ready for unrestricted worldwide paid sales.
05 / Help, changes & continuity
For payment or access help, email info@ofsoundandstone.com. The intended support target is a first response within three business days, excluding holidays; it is a target rather than a guaranteed resolution time. A message is not an automatic refund approval or a request to send more private information.
The site may receive maintenance and improvements. Material changes that affect an existing purchase will be communicated, and any notice, refund, or other remedy required by law will be provided. New terms will not retrospectively remove an existing buyer’s mandatory rights or the refund promise shown when they bought.
Before a live launch, the creator will confirm this proposal, seller details, supported locations, taxes, the live retention policy, and any location-specific information or cancellation requirements. Privacy & AI describes the current site’s handling of data.
